Com Satish V Wagh has been a crusader of trade Union Movement in our country . The Yeoman service rendered by him for consolidating the strength of working class in general and SBSU in particular does not have any parallels in the history of trade union movement in the state of Karnataka.

An embodiment of Courage, Conviction, commitment , dedication , kindness and sacrifice . A man of Foresightedness his efforts in the Formation of a separate circle for Karnataka is Memorable.

A friend , Philosopher and guide to many he as was a dependable friend. 

Com. Satish V Wagh rendered unforgettable and invaluable services to our Union and to thousands of employees . 

Born on March 30 1948 , in Uttar Kannada sadashivagada ,Chittakula Village . He joined our Bank in Jan 4th 1967 . He took up the Post of General Secretary of our beloved State banks’ Staff union (K) in 1983 with a strong conviction and with immense popularity.

Com. Satish V Wagh’s contribution towards building our staff union in Karnataka is unforgettable. By touring every corner of the state to create a strong fraternity among the employees.

He was an honest and sincere man and took time to understand the issues of the employees , listening to them carefully and providing a solution based on his immense knowledge of the circulars and service conditions rules  of our organization. 

Com. Satish V Wagh strongly believed that Humanism is an essential requirement t of a good leader. 

Some of his major achievements include

A boon to all the employees of State Bank of India Karnataka

He gave shape to the urge of membership to have a separate circle union. 

He introduced constructive trade unionism and work culture securing recognition to State banks’ Staff union (K) from the management
